Dill Popcorn Recipe

I also love creating new popcorn flavors at home and I have always wanted to have my own flavored popcorn line. White and yellow cheddar cheese powder are easy to find online and I always keep them both stocked in my pantry.

Pairs well with Dill Popcorn Shrimp.

Ingredients

  • About 4 tablespoons of vegetable or safflower oil
  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter
  • Salt
  • ½ cup white cheddar cheese powder
  • 3 tablespoons of dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon each of granulated garlic, granulated onion and celery seed

Directions

Heat oil over medium high heat in a deep pot with a lid. Add in the popcorn kernels, cover the pot and shake occasionally. When the popping has slowed enough so that you can count to three between popping, immediately remove from the heat and dump into a large bowl.

 

Dress with melted butter, salt, cheese powder, dill, and spices. Transfer to a large deep serving platter.
