Waffle Brownies Recipe
- Servings: 4
Preheat your waffle iron. Once it’s ready and your brownie batter is mixed, spray the interior with cooking oil or brush it with vegetable oil. Scoop about a half-cup of brownie batter into each of the waffle iron’s four sections. Use the back of a spoon or a small offset spatula to spread the batter out a bit.
Close the lid and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your waffle iron. Check for doneness by touching the waffles—they should feel firm and crispy. Keep the lid up and turn off the waffle maker and let the waffles sit for a couple of minutes before removing them (trust me, they’re like molten lava right out of the iron).
Carefully remove the waffles and serve with whatever you love—ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce, macerated berries, or just enjoy them as crispy brownie waffles straight up!
