Light Eggnog Cocktail Recipe

Rich in flavor but light in texture, this Light Eggnog offers a modern twist on the holiday classic. Dark rum and warming spices blend seamlessly with frothy skim milk for a cocktail that’s indulgent without being heavy. A sprinkle of nutmeg on top makes it festive and inviting for the season!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces skim milk, cold
  • 2 1/2 ounces dark rum
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 whole egg
  • Nutmeg, for garnish

Directions

Froth the milk well as if for cappuccino.  Shake the remaining ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and strain into a glass mug.  Top with the frothed milk and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
