Frozen Negroni Recipe

This recipe is a spin on a classic Italian cocktail which I tried making for the first time on camera and it turned out great! Feel free to play around with the amount of orange juice and simple syrup to adjust to your liking. You can easily scale this recipe by always using equal parts of gin and campari and half of that amount for the red vermouth. Then add simple syrup and orange juice to taste and enough ice to fill your blender, blend and enjoy!  

Pairs well with Pesto Pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gin 
  • 1 cup Campari
  • ½ cup red vermouth 
  • About ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • About ¼ cup simple syrup 
  • A few cups of ice 
  • Orange wheels, for garnish 

Directions

In a blender, combine gin, Campari, red vermouth, orange juice, simple syrup and then fill the blender with a few cups of ice. Blend until smooth. Garnish with an orange wheel and serve immediately.
