Cracked Cranberry Sauce


  • 1 bag (12 oz.) fresh cranberries

  • Peel from 1 large orange

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar


Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange peel, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and let the berries bubble until they burst and form a sauce, 12 to 15 minutes. Remove the orange peel and cool to room temperature or chill.
