Ingredients
Applesauce from the bottom of the jar
2 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
1 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce cinnamon simple syrup (1 part water + 1 part sugar + cinnamon sticks heated until sugar dissolves then cooled)
Preparation
To the applesauce jar, add whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup and some ice. Cover with jar lid, shake and DOUBLE strain with a normal cocktail strainer AND one of those mini cocktail strainers that look like tiny veggie strainers into a chilled coupe.
