1 stick unsalted butter (8 tablespoons)
1 bag mini marshmallows (16 ounces)
7 cups crisped rice cereal
A pinch of salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Grease a 9-inch x 13-inch pan very well. Melt the butter in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt. Add the marshmallows and stir until smooth. Add the crisp rice cereal and stir so that the cereal is evenly coated. Press the mixture into prepared pan with buttered hands to help with sticking. Let the treats cool completely or put the pan in fridge for 30 minutes.
Cut the treats into 20 even squares. Melt the chocolate in the microwave unti smooth, checking and stirring often. Dip the top of each treat into the chocolate so the tops are completely coated in chocolate, and even and smooth. Let cool until the chocolate sets. Store at room temperature.
