"Root Down aims to connect the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. There should be a seamless bond between the elements and experience, which stimulates the senses and draws people in.  Their goal is to create a place where culinary sophistication is accessible and inclusive, rather than exclusive.  

We love contradictions here.  Root Down is an earthy and sustainable restaurant, transformed from a once greasy service station.  It is multi-layered but simplistic.  It is rustic but refined.  We like the idea of two opposing concepts working in unison to create a fascinating and eclectic vibe. Root Down embraces dynamic interactions, and hopes to create a story that you’ll want to be a part of as we continue to put down roots in Denver."
